Payments

Payment is due at the beginning of each session.  Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted - Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  Please make checks payable to Ellen Carpenter.  

Fees

  • $160 per 50-minute session

  • $195 per 75-minute session

  • Some income-based sliding scale slots are available - let me know if this is your need and we will discuss options. For a discounted rate you will be asked to complete a Service Journal for each session. For more details see Client Forms.

Insurance

Insurance is not currently accepted as a form of payment but I will be happy to provide a receipt for my professional services if you would like to file an out-of-network claim with your insurance provider.  

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you will not be able to keep an appointment, please notify me 24 hours in advance by phone call or text to (512) 387-4636 or by email at ellencarpentercounseling@gmail.com. There is no charge for a cancelled appointment if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance.  If you do not give me 24 hours notice you still will be charged the session fee.  If you arrive late for your session, we will use the time remaining but the full rate will still apply.  Charges will be waived for emergencies and sudden illnesses.
